Last Wednesday, the school soccer team took part in the FAI Schools 5 aside competition out in Blarney. The team put in a very strong performance and were unlucky to only finish third in their group. Best for St.Marks on the day was Diarmuid Allen who put in a shift that could easily be compared to that of Irish legend Richard Dunne and his heroics against Russia in the Euro 2012 qualifiers 💪
In the weeks leading up to the competition, the team were very lucky to have local Daniel Joyce coaching the entire extended panel. The team and the St.Marks family would like to sincerly thank Daniel for his time and expert tutelage 👏
