We were delighted to welcome the Lord Mayor of Cork, Des Cahill to our school today. We welcomed him into our school by singing Amhràn na bhFiann. He told us about his role as Lord Mayor and about how busy he was everyday. He even took time to answer all our questions.
We thanked the Lord Major by presenting him with a donation to St Vincent De Paul and singing our school song.
We hope he will visit us again......he even gave us homework off tonight!!!
